Forage River Guide Service is owned and operated by 

Master Maine Guide: Gregory Sarnacki. He is currently certified as a Master Recreational, Fishing and Hunting Guide. 

WFA/CPR Instructor and Advanced Scuba Diver. 

Also as an instructor for Maine's Outdoor Learning Center, he teaches the needed skills to pass the State's Registered Maine Guide Test.

 Growing up at a sporting camp in the woods of Maine, Greg

gained a passion for the outdoors at a young age. Living each day immersed in the world of sharing Nature with others. Just out of high-school he enlisted in the U.S. Army, as a Forward Observer. Serving as a SOF Airborne Ranger - 1/75. Through vigorous training and study, he honed his navigation and wilderness skills. As a passion, Greg continues to learn as much as he can about the wilderness of Maine and how to navigate his way through it. 

He also thoroughly enjoys Scuba Diving, Bow Hunting, Fly Fishing, White Water Rafting, Sky Diving and pretty much all things involving the wild and waters of Maine!

Now he spends his days Guiding, Exploring and furthering his knowledge, so he can teach and share this wisdom with you. With Greg as your Guide, you will have a safe, fun, and adventurous trip; always leaving with an increased understanding of the wilds of Maine.
